🌟 Finding Balance 🌟

How are you finding balance in August so far.

I took time out last week to Verona which was amazing and the balance is working today welcoming my wonderful clients for a Coaching Saturday 🙏

Here are three tips on finding balance:

1. Set Boundaries: Establish clear work-life boundaries to look after your personal time.

2. Prioritise your Self-Care: over summer you may be juggling a few more priorities. The flying analogy is my favourite- put on your own oxygen mask first. The first step is knowing what you need.

3. Surround Yourself with great people : Spend more time with people who radiate and support you and less time with those who drain you.
It’s ok to say no to requests.

This weekend remember to do at least one thing for yourself that you love and brings you joy.

Notice any all or nothing patterns- strive for balance, have a great weekend.

It’s been the quickest summer, and marks a milestone day for all amazing teens receiving their exam results in Scotland.

I’m sending a heartfelt wish for happiness and success. Whatever the results might be, remember that every step is an opportunity to grow and thrive.

There is no wrong path….

🌷✨ Welcome to March! Spring is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to consider your growth, and self-care. As we move nearer the new season, here are three helpful tips to help you move into spring with joy and mindfulness:

1. Set Intentions for Growth: Just like nature awakens in spring, take a moment to reflect on what you’d like to bring more of into your life. Set clear intentions for personal growth, whether it’s nurturing a new skill, starting a wellness routine, a new hobby or building positive relationships. Write them down and revisit them regularly to stay motivated!

2. Embrace the Outdoors: As the days get lighter spend more time outside. Nature has a remarkable way of lifting our spirits. Whether it’s a walk in the park, gardening, or connecting with the outdoors can boost your mood and enhance your well-being. When you move your body, you move your mind.

3. Prioritise Self-Care Rituals: Spring is a great time to refresh your self-care routine. Consider incorporating practices that bring you joy, such as meditation, journaling, or creative hobbies. 🌟 Balance your time in 2025- Week 2 of 2025!

As we step into the second week of 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on how we each interact with time.

Are you a Past Thinker, Present Thinker, or Future Thinker?

🔄 Past Thinkers: Do you find yourself holding onto past experiences, finding it hard to make changes? Growth happens when we learn from the past and step out of comfort to move forward.

⏳ Future Thinkers: Are you constantly planning ahead, always looking to the next milestone? While it’s great to have goals, don’t forget to pause and appreciate the moment you’re in right now.

🧘‍♀️ Present Thinkers: If you can find joy in the here and now, you’re already on the right path! But even present thinkers can benefit from checking in on how they allocate their time.

The real work lies in mastering the art of living in the present while effectively managing our past experiences and future goals.

🌟 As we kick off January and settle back into our routines, it's important to be kind and gentle with ourselves. The start of a new year often brings pressure to set ambitious goals, and it can be easy to slip into an "all or nothing" mindset.

Remember, it's okay to take things one step at a time. Each day, stay focused on what you truly want to achieve, and prioritise a self-care routine that nourishes your mind and body.

Be mindful of distractions and take moments to pause and reflect. Let's embrace this new year with intention and self-compassion! 💫

2024 has been a busy year and I haven’t posted much- I have been supporting all clients all year.

🌿How are you doing Balance in Life at the moment?

Life can be really busy with many priorities and distractions- it's easy to lose sight of what really matters to you.
If your finding you are being pushed and pulled in many directions this is for you…..

Balance doesn't mean doing everything at once, but rather ensuring you have time for all the things that matter to you - work, family, friends, hobbies, and most importantly - YOU. 🌸

Here are some tips to help you find more balance:

1. 🌿Set your priorities: Make a list of what's most important to you and devote your time and energy to those areas.

2. 🌿Practice self-care: This can be anything from a relaxing bath, reading a book, or spending time in nature. It's about taking time out to recharge and refresh.

3. 🌿Learn to say no: You can't do everything. Learn to say no when you're feeling overwhelmed.

4. 🌿Stay organized: Keeping your life organized can help reduce stress and make you feel happier.

5. 🌿Take breaks: Give yourself permission to take breaks. It's not a sign of weakness, but a necessary step to recharge and refocus.

Remember, life is a balancing act, and it's okay to tilt one way or the other sometimes. The key is to recognise when you're off balance and take steps to get back on track.

With exam season looming, a reminder for parents and supporters of all kids to to balance their studies.
Here are some top tips:

1. Design a study plan, play with it as confidence and progress builds.

2. Prioritise tasks by focusing attention on the areas that will make the biggest difference to results.

3. Take regular breaks, build in balance of fun and hobbies.

4. Stay active, build in some physical activity in your daily routine.

5. Get enough sleep, Adequate sleep is crucial for memory retention and cognitive function.

6. Eat well, a good food routine will support focus balance blood sugars and motivation.

7. Choose your study space wisely where are you most productive- hang out there.

8. Ask for help when needed from teachers and tutors.

9. Don’t compare yourself to others, stay on your task, on your journey and keep your focus.

10. Give yourself praise and recognition for the work you are doing. This will help maintain a positive attitude towards your studies and exams.

Remember, it's important to find a balance between studying and taking care of yourself, use an app like Headspace . You have got this, each day keep taking your steps and all the steps will follow 👍

It’s a great Saturday for me in my Coaching Office working with some of my amazing clients.
I am really grateful and fortunate that none of my Coaching time feels like work.

Transition and moving through change.
