We are genuinely heartbroken and frustrated to return to the hub today and find that our roller shutter door has been mindlessly vandalised beyond repair.
This has happened sometime between late afternoon on Christmas Eve and today, and we are honestly in disbelief that this has been done to us.
The hub has been part of this community for years — a safe, welcoming space built on trust, care, creativity, and support. To see it damaged in this way is deeply upsetting, not just emotionally but financially, as this will have a significant impact on us.
If anyone has any information at all regarding this act of vandalism, please reach out to us. And if the person responsible is reading this and feels able to come to the hub, speak to us, and own what’s happened — we would be incredibly grateful.
All we are asking for is honesty and an apology.
We truly cannot understand the need for this, and it hurts to see something that exists for the good of the community treated this way.
