The Story of Bronhaul

Eco farm holidays & local food for local people, in the green shires between the rivers Taf & Tywi, working with nature.

Bronhaul is a haven of tranquility in the rolling green shires of West Wales. It’s a diverse and abundant valley of ancient woodlands, babbling brooks, flourishing gardens, rolling pastures and fertile wetlands. For many years, and for many people who’ve spent time here, Bronhaul is a place of retreat, natural beauty and biodiversity, deep peace and reflection, escape, inspiration, regeneration.

Nestled in the green rolling hills where Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire meet Bronhaul, translated from Welsh as ‘Sunny Bank’, is a small-scale family farm and ecotourism business. Angie, Colin and family arrived here in 1999 to a ramshackle old smallholding, with a dream that was Bronhaul. Almost 20 years of hard work and vision has brought it to what it is today, and we’re not done yet!

We offer rural farmstays in our cosy, characterful and well-equipped farm cottages and a more rustic, ‘back-to-nature’ experience in our bell tents. We also produce fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs and goat milk from our farm animals and our own firewood, championing sustainability and working with nature.
