It’s already been 10 weeks since I opened my clinic at Parc Dewi Sant - where did the time go?

It has been absolutely great, and I am so appreciative of all the people who have booked appointments with me. I am truly grateful, and I look forward to continuing to welcome new and returning patients.

Unfortunately, for the next 6 weeks or so I have only a limited number of spaces in my clinic due to receiving some medical treatment of my own (which I knew was on the horizon but wasn’t expecting so soon after opening!)

I’ll be opening up a few appointments on my online booking system where I can, but these will be limited and dependent on how much time and energy is taken up by my treatment.

I can only apologise for this temporary inconvenience. I hope to be back to full availability as soon as I can.

In the meantime, please use the website to check for any available appointments.

A chance to take a look at the businesses on site and chat about the different services. There are lots of tasters, some free talks, music and demonstrations on site today.

Come and take a look. Free parking today as the parking machines are not up and running yet.

1️⃣ We Start with a Chat�First, we’ll talk about what’s been bothering you. This could be pain, skin or nail concerns, changes in your feet, or anything else you’ve noticed. I’ll also ask about your general health, medications, and lifestyle to understand the full picture.

2️⃣ Foot Assessment�I’ll carefully assess your feet, looking at your skin, nails, circulation, and foot structure. If you’re experiencing pain, I’ll examine how your foot moves and identify what might be causing the problem.

3️⃣ Treatment�Depending on your needs, treatment may include nail care, removal of hard skin or corns, managing ingrown nails, advice for fungal infections, or treatment for painful conditions. Everything is explained before we start so you feel comfortable.

4️⃣ Advice & Prevention�You’ll leave with practical advice on caring for your feet at home, footwear guidance, and tips to help prevent the issue from returning.

5️⃣ Ongoing Care (if needed)�Some conditions improve with a single visit, while others may need follow-up appointments. If that’s the case, we’ll make a plan together.

👣 Podiatry Clinic 👣

My name is Louise I am a HCPC registered Podiatrist, with previous NHS and private practice experience.

I am opening a clinic based within the Medispace area at Parc Dewi Sant, Carmarthen. I am on the second floor but don’t worry if you don’t fancy the stairs, my room is located right next to the lift.

🚘 We also have free parking right outside.

I am in the process of setting up an online booking system on my new website, but for the time being feel free to give me a ring for an appointment or message me.

(And to anyone who received one of my leaflets today, I apologise. I created them after a very long day on the computer and sent them to the printer without spell checking them. School boy error 🤦‍♀️😊. So you will be getting a second visit from me in the next week with some freshly printed ones, minus the spelling errors 🙄)

I look forward to welcoming you to my clinic with any foot related problems.
