You don’t get what you want.
You get what feels safe.

This shows up in money more than people realise.

You can want more.
Work for more.
Think about more.

But if your system doesn’t feel safe with it…
it’s hard to hold onto.
So things return to what feels familiar.

This isn’t about lack of effort.

It’s about what your body recognises as “normal”.
And that can be changed.

Do you feel like you’re worth more money?
Be honest.
Not what you think you should say.
What you actually feel.

Do you feel like you deserve more?
Or does something in you resist that idea?

For a lot of people, this is where things get stuck.
They want more.
They’re working for more.

But something underneath doesn’t fully believe it’s available to them.

Or safe for them.
Or deserved.

And that creates a quiet block.

This is one of the most important places to look when it comes to money.

Not just what you do,
but what you believe you’re worth.

Money feeling up and down can be exhausting.
One minute things feel okay,
and the next it’s like something shifts.

More comes in,
then it goes again.

For a lot of people, this isn’t just about what’s happening externally.
It’s how the body responds to money.

What feels safe.
What feels familiar.
What feels “normal”.

This tapping is about bringing a bit more steadiness into that.

Not forcing anything.
Not chasing more.

Just helping your system feel calmer with money.
Tap along and notice what changes.

24/03/2026

Think about your money over the last year.
Has it felt steady,
or up and down?

Periods where things feel good…
and then suddenly not.

More comes in,

and then something shifts.
And you’re back where you started.
For a lot of people, this isn’t random.
It’s a pattern.

And when something keeps repeating like that, it’s usually pointing to something deeper.

Just something to notice.

Money comes in…
and then it goes again.

For many people this feels frustrating and confusing.
It can look like a discipline problem.

Spending too much.

Not managing things properly.

But often there’s something deeper going on.
The nervous system becomes familiar with a certain level of money.

A certain rhythm.

A certain version of “normal”.

And when that changes, even in a positive way, the system can feel unsettled.
So it pulls things back to what feels familiar.
Not because you’re doing anything wrong.
But because your system is trying to return to what it knows.

Which is why the pattern can keep repeating.

23/03/2026

Think about the last time you had more money than usual.
A good month.
A bit extra.
Something coming in.

What happened next?

Did it stay?

Or did something come up?

An expense.

Spending.

A shift.

And suddenly it’s gone again.
For a lot of people, this isn’t random.
It’s a pattern.
And when something keeps repeating, it’s usually worth paying attention to.

This is one of the most common things I see.

Just something interesting to notice.

Many of the ways people react to money are nervous system responses.

Stress around bills.

Feeling pressure when income increases.

Feeling uncomfortable receiving money.

Over time the body becomes familiar with certain financial patterns.

And familiar patterns start to feel normal.

But the nervous system is capable of learning new patterns.

Which means your money “normal” doesn’t have to stay the same.

Your brain is constantly filtering information.

One of the systems involved in this process is called the Reticular Activating System.

It helps decide what gets your attention.

If your brain is used to focusing on stress, pressure, or lack around money…

that’s often what it continues to notice.

But awareness can shift.

Sometimes the first step is simply noticing the patterns your mind has learned.

This tapping round gently opens space for your brain to start noticing opportunities too.

19/03/2026

What does the Reticular Activating System actually do?!
It’s a filtering system in the brain that helps decide what you notice.
And one of the ways it gets trained is through your internal language.
The way you speak to yourself matters more than people realise.
If your internal dialogue is focused on lack, stress or limitation, your brain will filter the world to match that.
If your internal language begins to shift, even slightly, your brain starts to notice different things.
Opportunities.
Possibilities.
Options.
You’re training it either way.
Just something interesting to notice.

Sometimes the idea of earning more money doesn't feel exciting.

It feels uncomfortable.

Tight.

Heavy.

That reaction is often nervous system related.

The body becomes familiar with certain patterns around money.

Certain levels of responsibility.

Certain expectations.

And when those patterns start to change, the nervous system can react.

That’s why emotional regulation around money can be so important.

Because when the body begins to feel safer, new behaviours and possibilities can emerge.

This tapping round gently explores that idea.

You are allowed to feel safe with more money.
