Have you heard of Karna Purana?

It’s a traditional Ayurvedic therapy where warm, medicated oil or herbal liquid is gently and slowly poured into the ears — a deeply relaxing and restorative experience.

This soothing practice lubricates the delicate filaments inside the ear canal, which helps sharpen hearing, ease tension, and remove built-up impurities.

What’s involved?

A Karna Purana session begins with a calming massage of the ears and partial head to relax the nervous system and prepare the body. Then, warm herbal oil is introduced into each ear, one at a time, while you rest comfortably. The experience ends with Dhoomapana — a light herbal smoke inhalation to help clear any remaining moisture and support the senses.

This class highlights the importance of conscious breathing for overall health and wellbeing. Deep, diaphragmatic breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to slow the heart rate and lower blood pressure, allowing more oxygen to reach your body’s cells and organs.

We'll be practising pranayama—a yogic breathwork technique that literally means “energy control.” This helps centre the mind and bring balance to the nervous system. Each session will also include a mindfulness-based meditation to leave you feeling grounded and calm.

💥 Class Details:

🕠 Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
