ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The family of the late Marie Lynagh (née Stewart), Armoy, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.

We deeply appreciate the kindness shown by our extended family, especially her brothers Danny & Eugene Stewart & sister Paula.

To all our friends, neighbours, and the wider community, your Mass & sympathy cards, social media & text & WhatsApp messages, flowers, food and many acts of support and thoughtfulness brought us great comfort during a very difficult time.

A special thanks to the policemen and first responder who attended my mum the day she died. They were so kind and professional it helped the family immensely.

We are especially grateful to Fr. Butler for his pastoral care and for celebrating Mum’s beautiful Requiem Mass. Sincere thanks to Moira Crawley for the beautiful music and singing which made the Mass so meaningful and special. We also thank those who travelled far and wide to attend mum’s funeral at such short notice it was so much appreciated.

We wish to acknowledge and thank Anna Douthart and her hard-working team for providing the excellent refreshments in Glen Rovers Club House after the service.

We would like to thank McClafferty’s petrol station and all the staff who always helped our mum when she done her weekly shops. She always mentioned how kind you all were to her. Also, to McCaughan’s Chemist, Armoy - Damien and his staff who also showed great kindness to mummy.
She had a few other numbers on speed dial apart from her immediate family these include Hugh & Joe O’Kane for car issues, John McKinley for plumbing and Alex Morrison for all her gardening needs. You have all been so kind to her since Daddy passed away.

Special thanks to Joe at Cunning Funeral Directors for the respectful and compassionate way he guided us through the funeral arrangements. His professionalism, sensitivity, and support meant so much to us during such a difficult time. Joe’s care and attention went above and beyond, and we are truly grateful.

We have decided not to have a month’s mind as the 18th October was a date already agreed to celebrate 2 of her granddaughter’s 18th and 21st birthdays. We plan to honour our mum that day.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Nichola, Helen, Claire, Peter and family.

Our Lady Mary pray for Marie.
