In January 2022, Steven Whittaker started his semi-retirement and sold the practice, which is now under new ownership. Clair, an Independent Prescribing Optometrist with 10 years experience, is looking forward to continuing Steven’s passion for eye care. Using the most technologically advanced equipment, we are passionate about providing you with a personal experience every time in order to address any eye related concerns. Too much screen time 📱👀

Extended screen time can lead to
-Digital eye strain
-Dry eyes
-Focusing fatigue

This week, the College of Optometrists and RAC continued our campaign to raise awareness of the impact of on drivers’ vision as a key road safety concern.

The latest research found:
• 63% of all drivers say they are subjected to from vehicles behind that they can’t avoid, of which 14% say it happens regularly
• a third of those affected by dazzle (33%) feel less safe when driving at night
• a quarter (25%) say it knocks their confidence behind the wheel
