Are your classes heated.
Our studio is heated to around 22 degrees. We use infrared heating panels to heat our space.
Getting the temp suitable for everyone is tough .
So what have we done?
Our new heating is zoned, that means we can have different zones cooler or cooler warmer, that means you can choose to go into an actively heated zone or to a cooler area.

Hey. How are you? How are you feeling, the body, the head, the heart? Maybe you are feeling fab, maybe those energy level are high and bright. Though at the moment It seems like a lot of people are feeling pretty low, maybe even a bit overwhelmed. Try not to be hard on yourself, you’re not alone. Things have been pretty grey, the sky has been dull, we’ve had the smallest glimpses of blue and sunlight and that can really impact our energy and our mood. Also it feels like there is a lot of heavy, stressful & sad stuff happening in the world right now, and that is really hard to see and sit with.
So perhaps take extra time to talk to people about how you are, notice if you’re consuming too much ‘news & noise’ notice how you can better take care of you.
Nourishing food, good company, healthy movement , getting outdoors even when it is grey, making extra effort to get out of its dry and the skies are blue. Making sure your sleep routines are good. Be honest about when you need to push yourself to move and when you need to intentionally rest.

Things are very rarely black and white, there are so many shades of grey and shadow.
Opinions don’t have to be black and white either, there are so many perspectives, opinion and viewpoints.
At times though; it feels like people have forgotten about the grey, have forgotten that it’s ok to have different viewpoints and opinions and that it’s ok to talk, discuss, debate and share opinions and to at times agree to disagree.
So a gentle reminder that it’s ok to have different opinions, it’s ok to not always agree. Algorithms and social media use will at times only show you things from one point of view, at times it may even evoke some really strong emotions and reactions. So remember to speak to people, to listen to other views, to share yours and to perhaps step away from the things you may see or read that only show one side or which promote extremes.

When it all feels a little dark and heavy and grey, remember that sometimes sinking into that grey, slowing down too much, and not doing the things you love can leave you feeling low and lethargic. No matter how challenging it may be, try to carve out a bit of time to do something you love, something that brings a little light back into you head and heart, a lightness into your body again. Whether it’s a cuppa with friends, a walk or run outside (even if it’s cold and wet) a gym or yoga session, cooking something delicious and nourishing remember that humans aren’t made to hibernate, we are made to adapt to all seasons, sometimes that means slowing down a little bit try not to stop altogether
