We had a wonderful donation of best China, from our friend, Linda Baird.💕
Table decorations from Natasha. Then a surprise visit from the staff of (Henderson's) Spar Milstone. Who delivered apple and rhubarb tarts. For all our residents.

We went upmarket and decorated the tables and treated some ladies from all floors, with afternoon tea.
They were absolutely delighted by this special treat.
We are hoping to make this a regular thing. So all can be included.
We did sneak one gentleman in. Madeline's husband John who had called to visit. 😉
Thankyou to our chef Paul for supplying sandwiches and scones. 😀

We are all very proud of Margaret. Who attended the Carrickfergus museum, were her artwork was on display. Margaret was not only there to showcase her artwork. But to promote positive aging month. Showing how you're never too old to start a new hobby.
That through art it can have a positive impact on our mental health, improve our confidence, reduce anxiety and improve cognitive function.
Margaret had the opportunity to meet the mayor, then enjoyed a coffee with Ildiko and Courtney, who accompanied her for the day.

What a wonderful surprise for our residents. When the children from Oakfield nursery called to visiton Wednesday. These young children brought so much joy to us all. With their wonderful singing, while teaching us the actions to their favourite songs so we could join in. We look forward to their next visit, with more singing and dancing.
