Last night the young people on our Fresh Start sports programme were on the ice with the Belfast Giants at the SSE arena 🏒

A few Bambi moments early on for our first time skaters but all pros by the end!

Thanks to John from The Irish Football Association and Police Mid & East Antrim for joining us on the trip and supporting our young people

Last night kicked off our Fresh Start sports programme in partnership with the IFA Youth Development Programme Ulster Rugby Ulster GAA and Belfast Giants

John and Kelsey from the IFA told our young people about all the amazing opportunities they'll have over the next couple of months and the difference sport can make to positive mental health.

We only have one or two spaces left on the programme. If you are 16-24 and would like to take part contact Jordan, Paddy or Sarah asap. Next week we're on the ice with the Giants at the SSE arena!!

Today we are launching the new C Card sexual health and free condom distribution service for all 16-25 year olds at the Health Hub in Carrick YMCA.

This is available every Monday by dropping into the YMCA anytime from 5-7pm.

Another great week in our health hub and get active sessions🤩
We had the young people cooking again having enjoyed it so much last week👨‍🍳
This time we made some pizza pockets and cookies😋

The young people have been cooking up a storm in health hub and get active sessions this week with some halloween baking and fajitas👨‍🍳

Also a reminder that we are open next week on Monday and Tuesday from 4.00pm to 5.45pm and we will be continuing with our cooking sessions

Unfortunately tomorrow is going to be the last health hub session with Cormac who is moving on🥲 it would be great to get to get as many down as possible we’ll have some games, challenges and treats from 4pm to 6pm🥳
