Few little pictures of the bees, we now have 3 hives as my first queen swarmed in the hot weather, we spilt a hive as had multiple Queen cells (second photo, Queen cell looks like monkey nut) so we are trying to get these well established and numbers up for winter. On the 3rd photo there is alot of capped brood, these are the young the queen has laid and worker bee’s have fed them and they cap them so that they can pupate and turn into bee’s, these are worker brood, which are all females.
The brood on second photo which protrude are going to be male bee’s called drones. 🐝
