Our Story

MHFA999 is Manchester’s best (in our opinion) provider of high quality MHFA England accredited mental health first aid training. Our creator Andy Graham is a fully qualified and approved instructor of Mental Health First Aid, and is the only qualified active Armed Forces Mental Health First Aid Instructor in Greater Manchester.

MHFA999 is approved by MHFA England for mental health first aid training in the Adult 2 Day, Adult 1 Day, Adult 1/2 Day Awareness, Adult Refresher, Armed Forces 2 Day, and Higher Education 1 Day versions of the training.

Having served in the army and the fire & rescue service, our founder Andy has not only performed first aid and trauma care on real people in real emergency situations on countless occasions, he has also lived with mental health issues due to some of the traumatic incidents that he has attended.

Because of this he decided to use his extensive personal experiences to continue to help others since his retirement from the emergency services.
