Leo from Getafix brings us our latest blog. A trip into the dangerous and magical land of Mindanao in the Philippines where he has one objective which is "to deliver safety and rescue training to rescue personnel from local Government units and rafting communities".

Congratulations to our three new Rescue 3 Europe Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructors!

Having completed their instructor training in the summer, this was their Assessment Stage, delivering mock
practical and theory lessons. Now they get to train the rest of us for real.

Since 2019 I have been working on a project in the Phillipines with my good friend Chisum Christopher T. Factura which we are both very proud of.
After years of planning and meetings with Mayors, Government officials, and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office Personnel (CDRRMO) Getafix has successfully delivered the first Swiftwater Rescue Technician courses (Rescue 3 Europe) in the Phillipines. Now with more Provinces on board, our ambitious goals are becoming a reality. We even made the front page of the paper!
