I am so excited to tell you all our wonderful news; my amazing team at Hollygate Lodge Residential Home have worked so hard and now their work has been recognised - we have received a nomination for 'Residential Care Home of The Year 2022' and guess what 👉 we have been shortlisted for the final 😲needless to say the team are sooooo excited 🤩...we wish to thank those who nominated us. We ask for your support as we attend the awards night on 28th October 2022 😁

Please check this out 👀 our amazing resident Mr J was nominated for an award through a Company called Pollard's Promises (Pollard’s Promises was set up as a way for its founder, Darren Pollard and his team at Quality Care Group (QCG), to show their appreciation for everyone involved in care). Mr J was nominated for going above and beyond in helping our staff at Hollygate on a daily basis with collection of scripts, kitchen tasks, and setting up the dining room for meals; I felt his work was not recognized in the way it should have been and nominated him for this wonderful award. At the start of this week Mr J's prize arrived and he received lovely personalised gifts; he is a massive Chelsea supporter and this was recognised by Pollard's Promises team. He was so happy and made the following comment when he received his gifts 'would you look at that, that’s great’. What an amazing achievement for Mr J 😁

We had two lovely Dignity Star's nominated for August. Our two lovely Lisa's have been recognized for going over and beyond for our residents at Hollygate Lodge and have been nominated by a relative for their great work. Well done ladies for all the excellent work you both do at Hollygate - we really appreciate it!

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 to our lovely senior care assistant Charlotte Ross for being nominated Dignity Star of the Month in July / August. Charlotte was nominated for our dignity theme great outdoors. Thank you Charlotte for all your hard work and 22 years of dedication to Hollygate Lodge. Well done 🎉

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 to our lovely care assistant Liz Breen and our lovely senior care assistant Jane Singleton for being nominated Dignity Star of the Month. Liz was nominated in March for brightening the residents up with our theme 'Spring dress' and Jane was nominated for bringing an 'Easter Surprise' to residents in April. Thank you to both ladies for all their hard work and dedication to Hollygate Lodge. Well done 🎉

On Thursday 2nd December we had a lovely visit at Hollygate Lodge from Alderman Stephen Martin - Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council - he brought some lovely biscuits for everyone. Thank you Stephen for coming along to Hollygate Lodge.

✨✨✨✨BANK Night Duty Care Assistant✨✨✨✨

Hollygate Lodge Residential Home is a 38 bedded family run care home in the heart of Carryduff.

We are looking for BANK NIGHT CARE ASSISTANTS who are committed to improving the lives of the individuals who reside in Hollygate Lodge by providing quality care and optimum service. The role will consist of acting as a key worker to a number of residents; befriending, assisting with personal care; carrying out daily tasks and encouraging social interaction. They will become part of our long-serving team.

Experience of working with vulnerable adults in a care setting is desirable.

All PPE is provided in accordance with PHA Guidelines.

Rate of pay discussed at interview.
