Let’s talk SPF ☀️
Suncream isn’t just for sunny days - it’s a daily essential! Even when it’s cloudy or raining, UV rays are still reaching your skin
There are two main types of UV rays:
UVA = aging ☁️ (penetrates deeper, causing wrinkles, pigmentation & long-term damage)
UVB = burning 🔥 (responsible for sunburns)
These skin damaging rays are present all year round and can even pass through windows, meaning your skin is exposed more than you think… even indoors!
Do you think this doesn’t apply to you because you’re in an office all day or you work from home? Well phone and laptop screens emit blue light (HEV), which contributes to pigmentation and skin stress over time - so yes, even you need to wear SPF every day!!
If you have rosacea or sensitive skin, skipping SPF can make things worse. UV exposure is a major trigger for redness, inflammation, and flare-ups. A good broad-spectrum SPF helps calm and protect your skin barrier, reducing irritation over time❤️
