Last night’s Yin and Gong, with the new moon in Aries, the sun in Aries and 7 planets aligned in Aries, what a perfect time to work into the hips, release what no longer serves you, relax and let go of stress, reset the nervous system and then go home and claim to the moon what you are now calling in!!
Yep! That’s what we did last night and it was magical. Slept like a baby too!

Lovely to see the evening sunset through the Garden Hall windows!
The next Friday Night Yin Club is on the 1st May and a lunar Beltane, the full flower moon, with the energy of Summer, growth, emotional expansion, power of manifestations and abundance. So I will be creating a very special yin sequence to honour what will be one of the most energetically charged days of 2026!

Lots of gratitude to for supporting the April Yin and Gong workshop, whilst our lovely is recouping.
Kat will be back in May but very excited to have the opportunity to work with Ash to provide a sound bath during the yin practice and then a dedicated gong meditation.
There is only one space left, 6:45pm to 9pm, Friday, 17th April, £30, DM me if you want to claim that last space. Workshop is at good_shepherd_carshalton

Getting into my March reads I actually devoured two books last month, due to the fact both were difficult to put down!
However as much as I love a Caitlin Moran book, OMG, Nina Simone’s Gum is an exquisite read, a beautiful story by the very lovely Warren Ellis ( Bad Seeds and Dirty 3).
It’s great to rediscover reading and make time for it ( sorry social media!!!)

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Monthly Yin and Gong workshop last night, some new shapes to soften the shoulders and strengthen the spine whilst in rotation and keeping the effort to around 5-6 out of 10.

Inspired by and the amount of unread books on my bookcase, I am aiming to read a book a month, February I was transported to India by William Dalrymple in his book Nine Lives, In Search of the Sacred in Modern India. If you love India and Indian religions, this book is fabulous and one of the best books I have read in a long time!
March I’m diving into What About Men? By Caitlin Moran - I have loved her previous books so looking forward to this one!
