This is a bit of an emotional post for me. After 11 years of running, BabyBien it’s time for me to say goodbye.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last 11 years. I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many lovely couples, wonderful women and absolutely gorgeous babies!

I always knew that I wanted to be at home for my son during his primary school years. Being self-employed has allowed me to do that and I’ve loved having the flexibility of walking him to school every day and being able to plan my work around school holidays and events like sports days and school shows. I’ve been lucky to be able to share so much of this time with him growing up.
He’s starting High school this week which feels like a huge step, but this transition is a big change for me as well as him. I’m needed less and it’s time for me to focus back on what I want from life and work. I’ve been offered a job with a very special company which I’ve decided to accept. I’m really excited to be joining them and the time feels right to say goodbye to BabyBien.

Autumn term baby massage classes are now love on the website and available to book!! Get your place reserved with just a £15 deposit of your don’t want to spend out for the full course now.

Classes are available in Carshalton and Selsdon & are relaxed a friendly…a great way to meet other new parents while learning techniques to calm & soothe your baby.

Course cost includes a bottle of organic oil for you to keep, access to a client area of the website with all the routines. We’ll finish each course with a graduation and mini photoshoot. Digital images are included in the cost…a lovely little momento for you to keep ♥️

How is it the middle of July already?!! Only a few weeks until the baby massage special which will be the last baby massage session until September.

Bring on the sunshine for this extended baby massage session! We’ll be doing a themed baby massage routine, followed by chance to chat over refreshments. I’ll also have my photo backdrop and a summer set up for photos with your baby.
£12 cost includes refreshments, mini photoshoot & digital images for you to keep 📷

This 5 week course is the perfect introduction to the benefits and techniques of baby massage. Classes are relaxed, friendly & baby-led and the cost includes a bottle of oil, access to all the routines so that you can practise at home & a mini photo shoot in the last session ♥️

✨Last few spaces for courses starting this week✨

Baby massage classes are a lovely way to connect with your baby through nurturing touch. Promote relaxation while learning different strokes to help calm and soothe your baby. There are many health benefits that we’ll cover over the 5 week course. It’s also a friendly space to meet some other new parents and their babies.
✨The regular course (Wednesday and Friday mornings) covers a different baby massage routine each week with a chance to chat afterwards.
✨Cosy sessions (Thursday mornings) offer a longer session in a smaller group setting with a chance to relax and unwind after the session with a good natter over tea and cake. Refreshments are included for these sessions.

All courses include a bottle of oil for you to keep & access to a client area of the website with the routines so that you can practise at home. The cost also includes a mini photoshoot in the last session with digital images. A gorgeous keepsake for you ♥️

This is the last block of 5 week courses until after the Summer holidays. We’ll cover ways to soothe and calm your baby as well as looking at strokes with different health benefits for your baby - including how to ease wind and colic, teething, and cold symptoms.

Thinking of coming along to one of my baby massage classes but a bit unsure of what to expect? Don’t worry! I’ve thought of everything to make you feel welcome during your first session:

I’ll welcome you as you come into the room, show you where to park your buggy (if you’ve brought one) & show you where to sit.

I’ll explain about the oils we use & talk you through a patch test on your baby to make sure the oils are safe for you to use. You’ll be given your own bottle of organic oil to use during the session, which is yours to keep.

We’ll take turns to introduce ourselves and your babies to help everyone feel at ease. I also have personalised name place holders for everyone.

We’ll do a short routine of breathing techniques to help you feel relaxed, then I’ll talk you through a lovely, gentle baby massage routine for your baby.

Thinking of coming along to one of my baby massage classes but a bit unsure of what to expect? Or finding it a bit nerve wracking getting out of the house and trying to meet other new parents? I do everything I can to make sure that my baby massage classes are a relaxed, friendly and safe space for you to come with your baby.

Before the first session:
I’ll ask you to fill in a quick questionnaire about you and your baby so that I know your names and can adapt to any specialised/medical needs.

Before the first session, I’ll send you a detailed email with all the info you need about exactly where to go for the session and what to bring with you.

Baby massage is the perfect first class for your baby and is suitable from birth. It’s also a lovely session for older babies up until they are crawling. You can find up and coming courses on my website or get in touch for more details email: kate@babybien.co.uk.

PAYG classes and one off specials can be booked if you want to try without committing to a full course (subject to availability).
