We had an amazing time at the Annual Sports Day, hosted by our friends at Field House - Somerset Care with Southlawns - Somerset Care , Rowden House - Somerset Care and Fletcher House - Somerset Care also joining in the fun! 🏃‍♀️🎯

We’re so proud to bring home the trophy this year! 🥇 Huge thanks to everyone who made the day so memorable - what a fantastic team effort from all homes! 💙

Our residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon of cake decorating, complete with a colourful selection of icing and plenty of fun sprinkles to choose from!🧁🍰

Once the decorating was done, the treats were enjoyed with a warming hot drink, the perfect way to end a creative and tasty afternoon. 🧁☕

Our residents had a fantastic time combining exercise and fun with a colourful parachute balloon game! 🎈💪🌈

They loved balancing balls and balloons while enjoying the bright, swirling colours, plenty of laughter, teamwork, and smiles all around! 😄👏

We've been making the most of the dry days by getting out and about in our lovely local community! 🏡🌞

From chatting with friendly faces to soaking up the beautiful scenery, it’s been a joy to connect with others and enjoy everything our surroundings have to offer. Whether it was a stroll through the park or a friendly wave from a passer by 🌳😊

There’s nothing quite like fresh air, good company, and being part of a caring community. 🤩🥰

Our wonderful Deputy Manager Michelle is turning 50 this week and we couldn’t wait to celebrate! 🎂🥳

We surprised her a little early with a beautiful homemade cake, some funky music, and a lounge full of banners and balloons. It made for a truly lovely afternoon, filled with smiles, laughter, and a great sense of joy! 🎈

Our residents really enjoyed the little party, and it was a special way to show Michelle just how much she means to us all. 💛

Happy 50th, Michelle! Here’s to many more wonderful memories! 🥂

🌊☀️🍦 Our wonderful residents enjoyed a fabulous day out at Bowleaze Cove, near Weymouth - and what a treat it was! With the sun shining and the sea breeze in the air, we soaked up the glorious weather with:

🐟 Delicious fish and chips by the sea
🍦 A refreshing ice cream to cool us down
🚶‍♀️ A gentle walk to the seafront, full of laughter and stories

The outing brought back so many lovely memories for everyone 💛

Following the viral social media trend, our wonderful residents rolled up their sleeves and created their own version of the famous Marks and Spencer strawberry sandwich and, let’s just say, they aced it! 🍓

To top it off, we served it with a refreshing glass of Pimm’s, the perfect way to celebrate the Wimbledon final in true British style!🍹🎾

A blooming lovely time getting involved in the local scarecrow fun for Castle Cary in Bloom! 🌸🌿

With plenty of laughs, creativity, and a dash of community spirit, we have crafted our very own scarecrow, introducing SUPER GRAN 🦸 proudly standing at the bottom of our drive for all to admire! 💪👵

We also stopped to chat with our lovely locals (and a few furry friends 🐶), and popped by the village shop for a scrummy treat or two. 🍪🛍️

Open Day Magic! We had a fantastic time celebrating our Open Day with toe-tapping entertainment from John and the General! Families joined us to soak up the excitement, share in the laughter, and enjoy the warm community spirit. There were plenty of tipples, delicious homemade cakes, and lots of dancing as residents and staff came together to make unforgettable memories. 💃🕺🍰

🌸 Creative Blooms Around the Home 🎨

Some of our wonderful residents had a fantastic time getting creative this week! From hands-on flower arranging with a gorgeous variety of blooms to painting bright, beautiful roses! The results were absolutely stunning. 👏 🤩

The floral arrangements and artwork have been proudly displayed around the home, adding a cheerful splash of colour and creativity for everyone to enjoy. 🌹💐

Our lovely residents have been making the most of the sunshine with a fabulous selection of cocktails, mocktails, and delicious nibbles! 🍹🍸🧁
Our wonderful staff joined for a mocktail to raise a glass to the wonderful community we’re so lucky to be part of here 💛

We also enjoyed a magical visit from our friends at Owl Obsession UK ! 🦉 We had the absolute pleasure of meeting three stunning owls and, the star of the show was Ollie, a striking black barn owl who stole everyone's hearts. We just adore getting up close with these incredible creatures. 🥰
