Our wonderful care supervisor Sonia is celebrating her 50th birthday this weekend 🎉🎂

To mark the occasion, we organised a little party for her, complete with a bottle of fizz, chocolates, a beautiful bunch of flowers, a special card and a truly scrumptious cake! 💐🍾

As you can see, she was absolutely delighted and it was a joy to celebrate such a special milestone with her 🥰

We had a wonderful afternoon playing bowls and sharing plenty of laughs! 🎳😊

Our residents enjoyed several rounds of the game, with a little friendly competition along the way. Activities like this are not only great fun but also provide valuable exercise and mental stimulation, helping everyone stay active and engaged. 🤩

It was a fantastic afternoon full of smiles, teamwork, and great sporting spirit! 👏

Today marks the end of an era for our beloved Activities Co-ordinator, Nicola, who is retiring after an incredible 17 years with Somerset Care 💕 Nicola has consistently gone the extra mile to provide our wonderful residents with engaging and meaningful activities. Her presence will be deeply missed by everyone at Cary Brook. She received a heartfelt send-off complete with flowers, chocolates, vouchers, and a collection of lovely cards. Thank you for everything Nicola - we will miss you! 🌼 ❤️

We had a flipping fabulous Pancake Day at Cary Brook! 🥞

Following a highly entertaining pancake toss competition in the morning, residents spent the afternoon decorating and consuming their very own pancake creations. Tasty toppings included fresh strawberrries and bananas, chocolate drops and marshmallows, honey, lemon and sugar and a selection of sauces 🍓🍌🍫🍯🍋
