A wee trip to Caerlaverock Wetlands Trust this week. We had a lovely stroll around the grounds followed by a picnic. Then on to Drummuir Ice Cream Parlour for a well earned ice cream.

Our activities have as always been varied, from crafting and baking to walks and picnics out. We went to Caerlaverock Castle with a picnic and it was a beautiful day, finishing off with a trip to Southerness for ice cream. We also went to The Dhoon at Kirkcudbright where people were having fun playing in the water, we had a lovely picnic followed by a trip to Gatehouse of Fleet for ice cream at the newly opened ice cream parlour Ice Dreamz, the flavours on offer were amazing. We had a trip to the garden centre in Dalbeattie for afternoon tea and a wee chat.

Our lovely Senior Care Assistant Cat welcomed her beautiful baby girl to the world 31st July 2025. Callie Kirsty-Jo weighed a healthy 8lbs 2 oz. We can't wait to meet her. Well done Cat!
