Hello, my name is Claire Prentice (Bertram) and I would like to welcome you to CB Hypnotherapy. I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist with Dip CAH & PNLP, qualified through the NCH and NCFE. I currently run my own private practice from my home in Castle Douglas, as well as visiting clients in the comfort of their own home, travelling up to a 100 mile radius. I can help with a range of issues which

I aim to work closely with my clients to come up with a treatment plan designed to suit each individual but with the same aim - to change their lives for the better. I offer a free initial consultation via phone or email, in order for the client to ask any questions they may have about hypnotherapy. It also allows me to gather all the relevant information I need to progress with treatment. My client's are not obliged to continue with treatment after the consultation, this is completely up to themselves. I work 7 days a week, day and night so I try to fit clients in as soon as possible. HYPNOTHERAPY IS A SHORT TERM THERAPY WITH LONG TERM RESULTS. Life is hard enough without all the extra problems we have to deal with. I'm here to help you eliminate your problems. 🚭 Have you ever said… “I really should stop smoking” — but just haven’t managed it yet?

Maybe you:
• reach for a cigarette when you feel stressed

That constant “what if something’s wrong?” feeling…
Googling symptoms late at night…

I’ve had a lot of people enquiring about the three session package for anxiety so here is some information 😀

I offer a three session package because anxiety isn’t something you can just switch off in just one session. Your mind needs time to learn a calmer way of responding — and that’s what we do together across the three sessions.

Session 1 – Calm the system
We start by talking through what anxiety has been like for you and what you’d like life to feel like instead.
Then we begin hypnotherapy to help settle the nervous system and reduce that constant overthinking, tension, or worry response.

Session 2 – Change the pattern
This session strengthens the calm response.
We work with the subconscious mind to reduce triggers, build confidence, and help you feel more in control rather than anxiety being in control of you.

Session 3 – Make calm feel natural
In the final session we help the changes feel more automatic and natural.
We also focus on future situations so you can move forward feeling more confident.

The aim isn’t just short-term relief — it’s helping your mind respond differently long term.

This package can help with:
• constant worrying
• overthinking
• physical anxiety symptoms
• panic feelings
• sleep problems
• low confidence

Sessions are completely confidential and are done either over the phone or face to face.
You’ll receive a recording after each session as well to reinforce the suggestions.
