Understanding Catastrophic Bleed - 11th October 2025
This course covers all the theory about catastrophic Bleed and Chest Injuries, the bodies ability to clot blood and the effects that medication has on this. Followed by triage using the TST triage tool. It is followed by in-depth scenarios that use very realistic simulations on real life casualties using flowing fake blood giving the learner the chance to use a TST triage pack and fix the injuries found, these range from stabbings, gunshot wounds, head injuries, entrapment injuries and amputation as well as explosion and blast injuries.
Understanding Life-Saving Medication - 15th November 2025
Whether you hold a SALM qualification and want a refresher or just have an interest in Life-Saving Medication, this one day course covers the drugs, the doses, the routes of entry and the effects and documentation of the drugs. The practicals and demonstrations allow you to actually draw up the drugs and administer it the correct way.

We at CTS are passionate about Catastrophic Bleed and pride ourselves on the realism of our scenarios, whether it is a gunshot wound, stabbing, full thickness deep burns, penetrating injuries or amputations you will see them all on the day, on both real life casualties and full bodied manikins, all super realistic and bleeding.

"Understanding Catastrophic Bleed" course (including practical scenarios) - £145.00 per learner.
Led by our University Lecturing Paramedics this in-depth course goes in to the science of bleeding and how to stop it followed by the practical scenarios in the afternoon.

Practical Scenarios (AM or PM Slots) (including a 90min Cat Bleed / TST Refresher) - £75.00 per leaner.
This starts with a Catastrophic bleed and Ten Second Triage refresher followed by the practical scenarios. AM or PM slots available.

We get asked loads "What actually is Sepsis?" and "What is the difference between Sepsis and Septicemia?".....so we thought we would write a short course on it.
This short half day on-line course makes you more aware of what Sepsis is and how to treat someone who you consider may be suffering from it.
