**Job Vacancy: Healthcare Assistant**

**Location:** Breadalbane Residential Care Home, Castleford
**Hours:** 21 hours per week (Days)

Shifts 7am-2pm -- 2pm-9pm

We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our compassionate team at Breadalbane Residential Care Home. If you have a passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of our residents, we want to hear from you!

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Support nutritional needs and meal times
- Promote a safe and comfortable environment
- Maintain accurate records of care provided

**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a healthcare assistant role is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- A caring and empathetic attitude towards residents

ANN BRIGGS
Of Castleford. Passed away peacefully with her devoted family by her side, on the 11th November 2025, aged 77 years.

The beloved wife and now reunited with her late husband David Briggs, a cherished and loving mother to Andrea & Darren, stepmum of Helen, a special nana/grandma and great grandma, a loved sister to Susan,a respected mother in law of Kevin and Tessa also a dear friend to Les. Ann will be greatly missed by all of her family and all of her many friends.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 30th December with service in Castleford Parish Church at 11-45am followed by a burial in Castleford Cemetery.
Family flowers only please . Donations will be kindly received in aid of The Breadalbane Care Home.
All attending are welcome to join the family after the service for refreshments to The Magnet Hotel, Castleford.
