Salary:

From £12.00/hour, paid weekly

Working Days/Hours:

Working 5 days per week, mainly on afternoons 14.00-22.00 but working schedule will be discussed in full during interview

Responsibilities
• Management and coordination of temporary workers to fulfil client requirements as well as volume requirements in line with the client deadlines and full recruitment process for onboarding new candidates
• Being the point of contact for our client and working with the Account Manager to implement and drive an effective recruitment, validation, and induction plan
• Providing a positive customer experience, dealing with any worker queries quickly and efficiently
• Accurate payroll processing ensuring both candidate and client expectations are met
• Holidays and Absences processing
• Monitor on-site operations as assigned, to ensure performance standards are maintained by addressing performance and attendance issues and making recommendations for personnel action
• Follow up on complaints and lead investigations as directed

We're looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at our client premises in Castleford, WF10 5QG area!!

Shift is Monday to Friday, working a total of 45 hours weekly
Pay rate starts from £11.53/hour
As a Warehouse Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- ensuring that you support the FLM / Shift Manager to achieve an efficient and effective operation meeting goals and objectives
- to plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of a team, providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development
- cost reductions and effecting team planning to be in place at all times
- to manage the fulfilment of customer orders ensuring that all department targets and customer promise is met at all times
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Team Management in Ecommerce
- Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
- Facilitate effective communication and relationships both inter shift and other departmental functions
- Assist FLM's in managing all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy
- Assist FLM's in the completion of accident investigations
- Ensure effective control of MHE usage to ensure minimal damage providing evidence of spot checks
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in ecommerce
- Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced
- Support FLMs in delivering improved productivity levels using coaching and mentoring skills ensuring individuals are aware of their responsibilities and fulfil them
- Work in collaboration with other sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice
- Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position with a flexibility to work any shift requirements across a 24/7 operation
- Personal hygiene and appearance to be maintained at a professional and acceptable standard at all times
- Manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
3+ years experience of warehousing / Logistics
Good analytical and numerical skills
Excellent interpersonal leadership, motivation and planning skills
Excellent communicator (verbal / written)
High School / secondary education – Essential
University degree or equivalent – Desirable
Previous managerial experience- Essential
