CANCELLATION LIST ✨

Due to my reduced working days/hours I am going to start a WhatsApp broadcast group (I can send to multiple people but you won’t see anyone else’s replies so don’t worry about being bombarded with messages).

For this to work you will need to have my number saved to your phone - 07772837171 and I will need your phone number to save to mine - you can either add your name and number below or DM me privately.

When an appointment becomes available due to a cancellation I will send it out on a WhatsApp message and it will be booked on a first come, first served basis - I will confirm with a second message once it’s booked.

This will take the next few days for me to get set up but once I’ve added everyone it should be a good way to fill the slots.

Katy Powell’s wish has been honoured in the most heartfelt way. Though Katy is sadly no longer with us, her family, friends, and local community came together to support our Hospice and have raised an incredible £10,525.

Katy spent her final weeks at the Hospice, where she and her loved ones received care, compassion, and dignity during the most difficult time. Her husband Daniel shared: “We can’t put into words how much we appreciate the hospice and the team.”

Katy’s fundraising appeal began while she was receiving palliative care, with a goal of helping other families experience the same support. Thanks to the generosity of the community and the Matthew22 Fund, that wish has now been fulfilled.

This is about my 25th attempt to write this so I’m just going to go with it now!

I have some news to share, some of you may be shocked, others, not so much. I recently applied for a job, a job that I have wanted to do for many years (I turned down a similar role 19 years ago!) Then just before Christmas a very good friend of mine, in the exact same role told me she would be retiring and it seemed perfect for me just to give it a go!

I hadn’t written an application form or had an interview since 2011, so to be honest, I thought I had little to no chance. I’m very excited to share that I was lucky enough to be selected for interview and offered the job! It’s very bittersweet at the moment as as much as I’ve always wanted to do this role and I am taking over the post of an absolute legend! I have built up a really successful business working on my own, full-time, self employed for the past 4 years and many of you, especially those who know me well will know how worried I am about writing this.

Rose & Wild is not going anywhere though, I will be very much still enjoying working in my cabin alongside my new job role, (which is part-time & term time) but unfortunately my working hours will be heavily reduced.

My plan is to work one day per week during term time. This will be a Monday OR a Friday each week and then, during school holidays I will be working 3 full days per every week of every school hol, with exception of bank hols and my own breaks.

I completely understand this may not work for everyone and you may need to go elsewhere, and for that I’m really, really sorry 😔

I will be contacting anyone affected asap, if you do not hear from me please attend your appointment as normal and I will chat to you at your next appointment about going forward with times.

Due to the very limited slots I will have available I am only offering these to regular clients 4/6/8/10 weekly and anyone with an in date valid gift voucher. I wil also work around these times if they don’t suit if you have a gift voucher as obviously they are pre paid.

To manage my working week better I will also be working slightly shorter hours:

Monday 10 - 5.30
Friday 11 - 5

During school holidays:

Monday 10 - 6
Tuesday 9 - 5
Weds 10 - 6

(The days work during the holidays may change but will always be 3 per week)

Neal’s Yard products will always continue to be available, you can order yourself via my shop or message me and I can stil order/deliver for you.

There’s a lot of info here and to be honest I’m still processing it and what it will look like in the long term but Rose & Wild will definitely live on so I hope I get to see as many of your lovely faces as possible still.

The raffle is fully sold out, I can’t thank you all enough for supporting this. Katy started this fundraising whilst dealing with her devastating diagnosis, an incredible thing to do, which shows how wonderful she truly was.

The raffle has raised £500 for the Prince of Wales Hospice and this is just a glimmer of light through the heartbreak.
