🎉 I’ve hit 40… and honestly, I think I’m nailing it. 🎉
Most people glide into their 40s looking refined, glowing, maybe sipping champagne somewhere classy.
Meanwhile, here I am, dressed like a budget circus act, mid-air, in what can only be described as a “choices were made” moment.
Running a business, raising a family, juggling rosters, and keeping everyone safe with first aid training can all feel a bit full-on at times. So today, I’m reminding myself (and you!) that life is too short not to have a laugh along the way.
Running 1st Steps First Aid means I spend most of my time being responsible, organised, and teaching people how to save lives….but today is a reminder that life is also about laughing until your face hurts and not taking yourself too seriously.
People say first aid and fun don’t normally go together, but why the hell not? My learners tell me my courses are fun…and after seeing this photo, you might understand why.
Thank you to everyone who supports my little business, even if this photo now makes you question who you’ve been trusting to teach you CPR. 🤣
A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support 1st Steps First Aid, despite this overwhelming evidence that I probably shouldn’t be left unsupervised in public places.
Anyway, cheers to being 40! 🥂
Old enough to know better, still young enough to do it anyway, and absolutely unwilling to take life too seriously. 🤡
