Mark Anthony Sheridan (Sherky)

Of Airedale, passed away peacefully at home after a brave fight against a short illness, with his family and friends by his side, on 23rd September 2023, aged 52 years.

The precious son of the late Mick and Norma,
a devoted husband to Lizzy, a precious Dad to Jade, Coral, Katie and the late Billy, a cherished son in law of Angela and Les,
a much loved Grandad to Isabella, Michael and Billy- Junior, loved brother to Michelle, Walter and Michael, a dear brother in law of Debra & Lindsay, a special uncle to so many, dearly loved cousin and a good friend to many not forgetting his best friend Stuart. Will be greatly missed.

The funeral will take place on Friday 13th October with service in Holy Cross Church, Airedale at 11am followed by a burial, reunited with his loving son Billy in Whitwood Cemetery.
Family flowers by request only please. Donations will be gratefully received in aid of The Community Nurses. All attending are welcome to join the family afterwards for refreshments to The Green Bowling Club. Finally the family request all mourners to please wear any rugby team shirt of your choice.

MARY TARGETT nee Morell.

Of Castleford. Passed away peacefully in hospital after a very short illness, with her loving family by her side, on the 23rd September 2023, aged 79 years.

Now reunited with her recently late husband Jim, a devoted mum of Stephen and Debra, a much loved nana to Lee, Luke, Kylie, Aaron and Emma, dear great nana, a respected mother in law of Louise & Ian, also a treasured sister to Joan, a good friend to many. Will be sadly missed.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 17th October with service in St Paul’s Church, Glasshoughton at 12noon followed by a burial in Whitwood Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations will be gratefully received in aid of The British Heart Foundation. The family invite all attending to join them after the service for refreshments to The Glasshoughton Sports & Social Club.

ROBIN ARMSTRONG

Of Altofts. Passed away peacefully in hospital after a short illness, on the 9th September 2023, aged 90 years.

The precious son of the late Emmie and Clarence Armstrong, a dearly loved brother to the late Colin and Anthony, a cherished brother in law of Margaret also a loving uncle to Michael, Richard & Catherine. Robin will always be fondly remembered for his time and involvement with Altofts Football Club and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral will take place NEXT Monday 25th September with a graveside service in Altofts Cemetery at 12-30pm.

Of Castleford. Sadly passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident, on the 26th August 2023, aged 59 years.

The precious dad of Abbey & Katie, a special grandad to Ethan, Ella, Isaac & Olivia, a dearly loved brother of Shaun, Michael, Brian, Nigel, Brett and Gail, not forgetting his cherished Joanne, a dear son in law of Ann and Ken also a treasured brother in law and uncle.
Will be sadly missed by all of his loving family friends, neighbours and all who knew him.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 27th September with service in St Mary’s Church Micklefield, LS25 4AG at 12noon followed by a burial in The Churchyard. Family flowers by request only please. Donations will be gratefully received in aid of the upkeep of The Church.

Will be sadly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

The devoted husband of Wendy, a precious dad to Sharon & Tony, a much loved grandad of Edward, William & Ben, a dear father in law to Mark and Emma also a loved brother of Jean.
Roy will be sadly missed by all of his family, friends and all who knew him.
