From a Dream to Reality: Deb’s Incredible Slimming World Journey
A year ago, Deb Land walked into the Slimming World group at Trinity Methodist Church, Castleford, Wednesday 9am with hope in her heart. It happened to be the group’s Woman of the Year event, and as she listened to members bravely sharing their stories of transformation, something clicked inside her.
She quietly turned to her mum and said, “That will be me next year.”
Fast forward twelve months — and Deb has made that promise a reality.
Through dedication, determination, and the support of her group, Deb has lost an amazing 6 stone. Not only has she transformed her health and confidence, but she has also been crowned this year’s Woman of the Year winner in her very own group.
Deb’s story shows what’s possible when you take that first step and believe in yourself. She proves that the goals that feel out of reach today can become tomorrow’s proudest achievements.
