Our residents and staff spent the afternoon remembering our fallen, and celebrating the sacrifices they made with a tea party.
We decorated the home with poppy's and created a remembrance display.

Our activities coordinator spent some 1-1 time with C.C who spoke about his time in the service, and created his story.

Last month we held our Super hero awards event to celebrate all the care, love and happiness our team bring every day to ensure our residents have a fulfilling life here at Highfield care centre.
Although every single one of our team deserve the recognition for their own parts that they bring to our residents life, we have some special nominations who as a home we wanted to highlight.

The heart of Gold: Rachael D for her passion to ensure the resident's have the care they deserve, and is a great support to the residents, staff and families.
Unsung Hero: Becki H for always going that extra mile for all the residents and staff. Becki will do anything that is asked of her.
New comer of the year: Jithu C puts the residents at the front of everything he does, he brings a calm energy to the home that the residents love as it makes them feel calm and at ease.
Life time achievement award: Allison G for her 20 years service for the home.
