What a wonderful 9mile walk this afternoon with my dear friend Alison Hull. Exploring different paths today and came across a Honey Bee 🐝 Keeper attending his bees. (Little church lane, methley)
Had the most amazing chat with him and his wife. Plus bought some homemade honey to try.
Really Made our day 😊 🐝 🍯

No wonder we all don’t like ourselves 😓☹️

1st image I saw this morning was a bunch of beautiful people either looking physically fit, full makeup or even applying makeup, beautiful hair, gym rats, gorgeous outfits also a bunch of beautiful homes & places to escape too.

2nd image was me looking straight back at me…. No make-up, looking my worst (you get the picture 😂)

Well done Instagr@m, you’ve done your job amazingly this morning. Think 🤔 I’ll treat myself to some makeup, buy them butt lifting leggings and yes treat myself to an holiday cos then I’ll be happy about myself…

Thank goodness I see life from a different perspective nowadays. That was me until I rewired my mind.
what I actually saw in the 2nd image this morning was a beautiful middle aged woman who truly loves herself, and I thought, ‘hey Mary you’re looking well today,
Today is going to be a beautiful day’.

Learning to love oneself is the hardest but most rewarding thing you’ll ever do in your life. When you believe in your own self worth nothing or no one can ever make you feel bad about yourself.

Time to start loving yourself inside & out 🦋💞

Loki is helping me with my wild garden 🪴 While we potter around the garden this morning (with no shoes on) we’re are grounding ourselves, lowering stress levels and recharging our natural dopamine. Not only does this help me physically & mentally it is also pasted onto my morning clients, helping them to self regulate too.. Win Win….. 😻🦋

This amazed me….. For you that don’t know, I’m doing a little DIY project. I ended up hurting my hand and I just can’t believed how well I’ve healed. Within 2 days everything is healed & repaired. Showing me that my body is wholesome, physically & mentally ❤️‍🩹 Did is heal so well cos of my new lifestyle , wellness or cos of me giving facial treatments using my healing skin rejuvenating balm or the healing hands therapy? Honestly it will be everything. There’s no 1 magic pill. The mind, body and soul only rebalance itself by multiple factors….. ❤️‍🩹🦋

An early morning walk before my 1st client….. I always feel so much better when I’ve been in nature especially after grounding myself, yes I touched a tree while I closed my eyes even if it was for a few minutes.. and I recused this little fella 🦎 , honestly it’s amazing what you see and feel when you slow down… All rebalanced for my day in clinic, let’s go 💞🦋

Cuppa Club Queen's Mill Castleford for anyone wanting a cuppa, piece of cake 🍰 and a little advice..

Join us for Cuppa Club this week, on Wednesday 21st May, 9.30am – 12.30pm.

A welcoming space, good company and a variety of hot/cold drinks, cakes & biscuits are all provided free of charge.

Our usual Citizen’s Advice drop-in will be available, so please feel free to get a cuppa while you wait for your drop in appointment.

Plus, Age UK Wakefield District and Live Well Wakefield will be here too, should you need any advice.

We even have board games, jigsaws/puzzles, magazines and info/leaflets to keep you occupied - and a range of activities and groups to find out about/join.

Perfect Holistic Therapy,… A good long walk in the fresh air, lots of wildlife & greenery. Making new friends, seeing old ones along the way. Calling The Tipsey Trailer & Co for a quick rest & an energy boost. Popping into The Secret Stanley Ferry Shop for a little trinket treat for myself.. And smashing my personal best. Total cost £8 for 8 hours of therapy absolutely priceless

One of my friends treated me to this amazing, beautiful book. Read it all on the plane home from Madeira. Full of short stories of people that are at end of life, either by illness or age, they talk about things they were grateful of and the things they Regret… Honestly this book touched me. Life is for living 💞💞

After me deciding something had to give and I had to make some life choices & changes to achieve a better version of myself.
(Must say perimenopause & a few failed relationships had a big influence in these decisions making 😂 )

4 years into my journey and I can’t believe how much my life as changed for the better.

You can say it’s being my very own personal GLOW UP 🥰
I’m the healthiest, mentally & physically I’ve ever been plus my SKIN has never looked as good. 😊

Not only will this page help you & give advice regarding all holistic skincare & treatments, I’m also going to share information regarding all wellness.
Plus sharing local businesses & stories of the amazing people I’ve met alone my journey.

I know now, that I couldn’t achieved my GLOW UP without my wellness community (family, friends new & old, groups, local businesses etc). 💞💞
