What a day in Richmond!
Every seven years, the Mayor leads a walk around the historic boundary of Richmond, North Yorkshire – a tradition full of heritage and community spirit.

Platinum Medical was proud to provide medical cover for this unique event, ensuring everyone could enjoy the walk safely.

It’s always an honour to support local traditions like this, keeping participants and spectators in safe hands every step of the way.

Our hearts are heavy today. Yesterday, a 12-year-old boy tragically lost his life at the Richmond waterfalls after getting into difficulty in the water.

There are no words to truly capture the pain of such a loss. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, his friends, and everyone in our community who is grieving.

We stand with you in this time of unimaginable sadness. Please take a moment to hold your loved ones close and keep this young boy and his family in your thoughts.

This weekend, one of our incredible team members is taking on a huge challenge — a 50-mile walk in under 24 hours as part of the Ripon Rowel to raise money for a fantastic cause! 💪
