Yesterday we celebrated our kind, hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate team of nurses here at Caversham.
We are very lucky to have such an amazing team of nurses caring for our residents every single day. Yesterday was an opportunity to celebrate and thank them for the vital work they do with such professionalism and to treat them with a small gift of our appreciation for the care they give.

🌿 Our residents are incredibly excited by the progress of the gardening club. From fresh herbs and salad leaves to seasonal vegetables, everything we grow is used in our kitchen, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy fresh, homegrown produce every day 🍅🥬

It’s a wonderful way to bring people together, encourage time outdoors ☀️ and ensure food miles are virtually non-existent 🌍 We also have a very special furry visitor 🐈 who often stops by to keep residents company while they’re out enjoying the garden.

At Signature at Caversham, residents came together to commemorate Victory in Europe Day with a meaningful day of reflection, remembrance and celebration.

From sharing memories to enjoying time together in beautiful surroundings, the occasion was filled with warmth, connection and community spirit. The celebrations reached their peak with a wonderful singalong led by Michelle, whose music brought joy, laughter and plenty of patriotic spirit to the afternoon.

We were delighted to attend Reading Football Club Dementia Awareness Event, where we had the opportunity to exhibit and share details of our non-resident community events, including our dementia-friendly cinema screenings and Community Carers Café. We were also joined by some of our wonderful residents, who enjoyed the activities on offer. 💙

Everyone arrived in great spirits and enjoyed a complimentary hot drink and sweet treat before getting involved in the day’s activities. From live musical entertainment to a fun and energising seated boxing session, there were plenty of smiles and laughter all around!

Our Client Liaison team also had a fantastic time connecting with other organisations, sharing knowledge, and learning more about the support available for those living with dementia.

A brilliant day out for everyone involved! ⚽✨
