🚐 ✨🍴One of the highlights of each week is our planned outings on our very own mini bus! 🌟 Residents can choose the trips they’d like to join, whether it’s a scenic drive, a bit of shopping, or—like last Friday—a delicious pub lunch at The Crown At Playhatch🥂🍽️

Moving into a residential home doesn’t mean giving up the things you love. 💛 Here, we make sure our residents continue to enjoy their favourite activities, make new memories, and share plenty of smiles along the way.

🎶✨ An Evening at the Last Night of the Proms ✨🎶

Last night, we celebrated the magic of the Proms in our very own Café Concerto, transformed into the perfect setting for a “Proms for All” event.

Residents shared fond memories of classical concerts they had attended over the years and reminisced about their own musical talents. 🎻🎺

They also added a little something sweet to the celebrations — homemade Victoria Sandwich Cakes with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. 🍰🍓

With our bar fully stocked, residents, their loved ones, and our Signature team came together to experience this iconic cultural moment.

Resident Barbara summed it up beautifully: “Such an amazing evening, so much talent.”
Resident Ann added with a smile: “I loved Bohemian Rhapsody — just amazing! And I enjoyed my glasses of wine too.” 🍷✨

It was a night of music, memories, and connection – a true celebration of the power of music to bring us all closer. 💙

🌞 Signature Residents Day Out at the Sonning Show 🌞

Our residents had a wonderful time at this year’s Sonning Show! From enjoying tasty refreshments 🧁☕, to admiring the incredible arts and prize-winning vegetables 🥕🎨, there was plenty to see and do.

We also stopped to say hello to our friendly community police officers 👮‍♀️👮 and had a lovely visit with Hannah at her Physiomoves stand 💪✨. A special highlight was visiting Laura’s friendly donkeys and goats 🐐🐴 — they brought so many smiles!

Most importantly, everyone enjoyed spending time together, making memories, and soaking up a fantastic day out 💐✨

✨ Rehabilitation changes lives — and today we saw just how powerful it can be.

This afternoon, we had the pleasure of attending the Therapies on Thames- Rehabilitation matters for elderly open day at the WADE Day Centre in Wokingham.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and share more about the wonderful care, rehabilitation, and community we offer at Signature at Caversham.

We were also inspired by insightful presentations from a team of specialists who work closely with individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, emphasising the importance of tailored rehabilitation, ongoing support, and early treatment.

A huge thank you to and for hosting such an informative and collaborative event!

Last Night of the Proms at Signature at Caversham

Join us for our very own Last Night of the Proms as we celebrate the closing of the BBC Proms! You’ll enjoy the full BBC Proms screening in our Cafe Concerto along with residents, their families and team members.

The first half of the evening will feature a seated viewing of the Proms, while the second half will be filled with decorations, balloons, streamers, and more.

Throughout the event, our bar will be serving a range of cocktails.

Mealtimes should be moments of joy 💛 — especially for those living with dementia. That’s why our entire team, led by Head Chef David and Food & Beverage Supervisor Natalie, took part in specialist training to ensure a consistent, engaging, and dignified dining experience for every resident. 🍽✨
