When I test something intuitively in the treatment room… and a woman’s nervous system responds instantly.

Today I tried a new technique during scratch & skim therapy after reading about how the brain responds to non-synchronised touch patterns.

Basically instead of predictable side-to-side mirrored movements…
I started using opposite point drags, different directional touch, layered sensory distraction and irregular patterns to stop the brain “tracking” what was coming next.

And OH. MY. GOD.

This client has been to me before.
Usually relaxed yes. But Usually alert.
Today?

and a girl lightly shampooing your hair while you lie there wondering if you left the chicken out to defrost.

Lovely.
Relaxing.
10/10 hair TikTok content.

But The Cocoon Room?

This isn’t just:
✨ bubbles ✨
✨ aesthetics ✨
✨ “self care girlie” vibes ✨

This is:
“why am I suddenly emotional because someone touched my scalp properly for the first time in 14 years?” energy.

Women aren’t coming in here because they just want shiny hair.

Because modern women are EXHAUSTED.

I mean:
