Fully insured by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and fully Covid 19 compliant as per the new regulations. KEEPING YOU SAFE
Please take time to read the following notes. They are designed to help and reassure you, so you know what to expect when you have a treatment. Wherever you decide to have your treatment I want you to feel confident beforehand, relaxed during and invigorated afterwards.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need further clarification or have questions. I can treat you in my treatment area in my home near Preston Park or if you prefer, I can travel to where you live. The best way of contacting me is phil@solebeneficiary.co.uk. Wherever you decide to have your treatment…
• I will wear a clear visor and a mask. I will be wearing this when you arrive or when I arrive at your house. I will wear it while I am treating you.
• In line with government regulations, for the foreseeable future, I ask that you wear a face covering for any treatment.
• I will wash my forearms, hands, and elbows before and after each client.
• I will wear clean clothes for every client.
• All laundry used during your treatment will be washed.
• Please return the covid questionnaire that I will send to you 24 hours prior to your treatment.
• If you have downloaded the governments NHS track and trace app, I will give you the opportunity to “check in” by scanning my business poster with the QR code. This is, of course, optional.
• I am also doing thermal auricular therapy (ear candling). Please ask me about this wonderfully relaxing treatment if you would like to know more.
• If I develop COVID symptoms I will not treat clients. I will let you know if I develop symptoms and have seen you within the past 14 days.
• Please pay by bank transfer. I will give you my bank details when you book your appointment. If you decide to have your treatment at my home…
• Please let me know if you are coming by car so that I can move my car to allow you to park.
• My home is in Stanford Avenue near to the south end of Preston Park. I will text you the postcode and parking details once you have booked your appointment.
• Please arrive at the time of your appointment. Arriving early might mean that I am finishing cleaning following a previous client which may increase any risk of infection. Arriving late may mean your treatment is shorter if I have another client after you.
• All doors and gates will be open so that you do not have to touch handles and k***s. Should you inadvertently do so, be safe in the knowledge that my latest cleaning routine means that everything is de sanitized with 70% alcohol wipes. If you do inadvertently touch a surface, please let me know.
• Cleaning has always been important to me as a therapist. In the Covid world we currently live in when I clear the massage couch of towels, sheets etc following a client I wear disposable rubber gloves and clean everything with 70% alcohol wipes.
• 70% alcohol gel hand sanitizer is available at several points throughout the flat (including outside the bathroom). These will be pointed out to you.
• Please bring your own bottle of water (to reduce risk of infection) with you so that you can remain hydrated. Please only bring essential items with you e.g., keys, phone.
• I will provide you with a pen so that you can sign and date your consultation sheets. This will have been disinfected beforehand.
• If you are having a massage you will be given a disposable bag to place your clothes in for the duration of the massage.
• If you are having a reflexology treatment, I offer a relaxing foot soak whilst we undertake the consultation prior to the treatment.
• The government have advised that no music should be played in spas, salons and in the home. This is because raising your voice to be heard can increase transmission of the virus. If you decide to have your treatment in your home…
• I will bring my own hand sanitizing gel for my personal use.
• I will bring my own bottle of water.
• The massage couch will have been sanitized beforehand and will be in a new cover that I have bought.
• I would prefer not to touch door handles, k***s etc. If you could assist me with doors etc I would be grateful. If I touch something in your house, I will try to let you know so that you can de sanitize.
• If I have not been to your house before I may ask about where we will be doing the treatment.
• I may also ask about who lives with you so that we can all protect each other as much as possible and minimise risk to us all whilst I am at your home.
• Please can you have a pen ready so that you can sign your consultation notes. Terms and Conditions
