Whether it's new playground equipment, revamping a village hall, supplies for a community garden, or equipment for a local food bank – if it will make a real difference, we want to know about it.

Three winning projects will each receive a £3,000 grant to make it happen.

It's 'jolly hockey sticks' for the next two weeks as we start our hockey sessions. They bring out the competitor in the attendees – so a whistle is needed by all our activity leaders to keep everyone in order.

We might also drop in a St Patrick's Day quiz this week. ☘️

This is the benefit of what we bring; it isn't the same exercise class every time – different sports, engagement, music and energy. Something for all, whether done in the group sessions or on a 1-on-1 basis.

We finished two weeks of seated tennis today, and we've had lots of fun across the 100 care settings and community groups we work with. Tennis creates a huge amount of laughter with balloons going everywhere. It's great for upper body and arm movement – stretching and bending without noticing.

This week the most wrong answer to one of our tennis questions has been

'What colour are tennis balls?' – the main answer was 'white'.

It's actually yellow. Would you have known?

The next time we have scheduled tennis is in June/July – so book us in now for a Wimbledon-themed event. We bring the tennis, and afterwards everyone can enjoy some strawberries & cream and Pimm's & lemonade.

We have amazing women running and working in our business as well as often being the majority of participants who take part in our seated sport sessions. It's a celebration today of how society benefits from the work, care and achievements of all women and how everyone gains more.
