We had a fantastic time at the Lowedges Fire Station Open Day today.

We met so many lovely families who were fully engaged in harvesting with us.
We picked:

🫛 Peas, beans,
🍓 strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants
🧅 onions,

And a huge thank you to our hardworking gardening group who were kind and informative to all our visitors!

Join us this Saturday (28 June) for the lowedges fire stationopen day.
It will be loads of fun, with demos, soak a fireman, food, stalls and seed sowing at our open garden.

🐦 Monday at Lowedges Community Garden, mowing and weeding prep for our open day
🌞 Tuesday grimesthorpe allotments with 15(!) Gardeners all working hard in the sun
🍀 Wednesday session at Beech residential making signs and watering beds
🌸 Friday at Grimesthorpe watering everything and planting donated tomatoes
👍 Saturday open day at Lowedges as part of Greenhill Open Gardens.
