What a great weekend at South Tawton's lovely Church House for John and Kari's fabulous art exhibition. A constant stream of visitors over two whole days :-) If you came along, do please leave some feedback in the comments.

Congratulations, well deserved 👏👏👏

Nominated by Simon Timms in the Open to Visitors category of the National Church Awards Providence won the England section and then the UK overall award in the same category.

Is it too early for this?! Hallowe’en’s been, Guy Fawkes is old news!

This week I completed my ‘Tour of the Moor’ in which I performed a miscellany of Dartmoor songs in as many corners of the moor as I possibly could! It was a wonderful thing to do, great fun and hugely rewarding to sing songs of such a specific place in the locations they were from. National tours are fantastic of course but there was something really exciting about going micro-local! (*Trademark 2023 Jim Causley Inc) Of course there are lots more towns and villages around Dartmoor I’d loved to have included but not all were possible, but I’m sure in time to come I’ll get to Tavistock, Bovey, Ivybridge, Dunsford, Hennock, Lustleigh, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, even Babeny or Jordan! Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it possible and provided great fun along the way! Next up… Christmas!!
