⁣Baby’s Journey in the Womb – Trimester by Trimester⠀
✨From a tiny cell to a kicking baby – here’s what happens inside the womb each trimester! ✨⠀

✨ 1st Trimester (Weeks 1–12): The Foundation Begins⠀
Life begins with a single fertilised egg! By week 5, the embryo implants and major systems start forming.⠀
🫀 The heart starts beating by week 6.⠀
🧠 The brain, spinal cord and organs begin developing.⠀
👣 Tiny limb buds appear – the start of arms and legs!⠀
By week 12, your baby is about 2 inches long and moving – even if you can’t feel it yet!⠀

🌱 2nd Trimester (Weeks 13–26): Growth & Movement⠀
Often called the “golden trimester” – mom feels more energy and baby starts to look like a baby.⠀
👶 Facial features form and little fingers and toes appear.⠀
🦴 Bones harden and muscles grow stronger.⠀
💃 You may feel the first flutters of movement around 18–20weeks.⠀
👂 Baby can hear sounds and even recognise your voice!⠀

🌸 3rd Trimester (Weeks 27–40): Ready for the World⠀
This is the home stretch!⠀
💨 Lungs mature and baby practices breathing.⠀
🧠 The brain develops rapidly and fat builds under the skin.⠀
🌀 Baby responds to light, sound and touch.⠀
🍼 Around week 37, baby is considered full-term and getting into position for birth!⠀

Take a moment for yourself with our 5-week pregnancy yoga course, designed to help you relax, strengthen and connect with your growing baby. Each class offers a blend of mindful movement, breathwork and relaxation to ease tension and promote strength. At the end of every session, unwind with calming breathwork or a deeply restorative yoga nidra practice, leaving you relaxed and centered.⠀

🪷 When: Every Friday, 7.30 - 8.45 PM, from 25th April until 23rd May⠀
