As the colder months set in, there are a few easy steps you can take to help protect your health this winter:

βœ”οΈ Get your flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
βœ”οΈ Wash your hands regularly to reduce the spread of germs
βœ”οΈ Keep your home warm (aim for at least 18Β°C in rooms you use most)
βœ”οΈ Dress in layers and keep moving indoors
βœ”οΈ Eat regular hot meals and drink warm fluids
βœ”οΈ Make sure heating appliances and alarms are working safely

Staying warm and well can help reduce colds, flu and other winter-related health problems.

The HPV vaccine helps protect against a range of cancers, including cancers of the mouth, throat, a**s and ge****ls. Getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to reduce your risk in the future.

πŸ“ Who can get the HPV vaccine & where to go:

πŸ‘§πŸ§’ Children aged 12–13 (Year 8)
➑️ Offered at secondary school (or community clinics if not in school)

πŸ‘© Girls aged 24 and under who missed it at school
➑️ Contact your school nurse, school vaccination team or GP surgery

πŸ‘¦ Boys aged 24 and under (born after 1 September 2006) who missed it
