We had the loveliest afternoon with Anne, who taught us how to make resin holly and mistletoe brooches and decorations🌿✨

Residents either enjoyed trying something new or had another masterpiece to add to their growing resin art collection- the finished pieces are simply stunning🎄

We look forward to seeing more of Anne’s lovely resin flowers on her stall at our Christmas Fayre on the 13th December🎅🏼🎄!

Today we took a trip down memory lane with a quiz where residents tried to guess which young photo belonged to which familiar face!
Some were harder than others, and some were surprised at their own photos 📸

An afternoon reminiscing over some lemon drizzle and a coffee, was perfect for a chilly Sunday afternoon 🫶🏼.

A royal afternoon well spent 👑🎂

Our residents enjoyed tea, cake, and fresh scones as we celebrated the King’s Birthday together. We reminisced as we talked about memories of the royal family 🧁☕️.

Today we enjoyed a Bonfire Night quiz, followed by some themed cakes 🧨 Well done to our worthy winner, Pete, with an impressive 13 out of 18 correct answers 👏

This afternoon, our residents enjoyed a relaxing craft session creating poppy wreaths ahead of Remembrance Day. It was a lovely way to spend time together on a dark Sunday afternoon, while reflecting on the importance of the occasion 🥀🕊️.

Party party here at Knightwood this afternoon, spooky snacks and drinks in full swing whilst guessing the weight of the pumpkin 🎃 🎃.

Then we played Halloween bingo and gave awards for the best dressed (there were some scary contenders).

A huge thank you to our amazing chef Jordan for the most incredible selection of Halloween snacks - a great time was had by all 👻💀🎃

Follow Sammy on his journey to deliver pumpkins to Brendoncare, so that our residents could carve and paint them ready for our Halloween party tomorrow 🎃🐶🐾

We were piping pumpkins this afternoon at Knightwood 🎃🎃. With the help of some chocolate buttons and Malteasers, we turned them into happy pumpkins, (well most of them).

Our other residents will be enjoying them for afternoon tea ☕️🧁.
