I had the slowest week last week. Illness helped that but I'd always planned this half term to be chilled, slow & present. Sept & most of Oct was pretty full on & part of me knew something was brewing in both me & my daughter - her starting school & me over-doing it a tad with 40th birthday events, starting new classes, running 100k, retreats, hubby being away & all the new primary & senior school emails to last a lifetime! Seriously, its a full-time job getting to grips with two differnent schools admins & emails! 🤯
Anyways... amongst slowing down, I felt a good balance between doing & resting. (The doing still felt like resting though!) So in yoga this week, we're looking at creating a healthy balance of strength & softness, effort & ease, doing & resting, & creating a healthy amount of stress on the body, then releasing all tension & effort (think plank pose to a floppy chaturanga!!)
