I had a great time at Flavours Holidays HQ in Edinburgh for their annual Teachers Meeting yesterday. I feel very honoured to now be part of this community. And I'm really looking forward to my first proper season with them this year!

Hannah is now a Total Body Walking Instructor!

My new qualifications are coming along like busses at the moment… 😂
I’m looking forward to putting this one into practice in Puglia in October.
No plans to offer regular walks in the UK at the moment but if you want to learn more send me a message.

Today I became a Master Matwork Teacher with Body Control Pilates.

After doing the Studio Master Teacher exams last year, this now means there are no more exams for me to take!

The Master Matwork exam had been the most physically challenging for me, as the first half involved performing the full Classical Mat (original) sequence of exercises while being observed. The second half of the exam is breaking down some of these to their component parts and teaching them to someone else. Thank you so much to the lovely Sally for being such a competent mover and delightful person too!

13 hours in to his 24 Hour Pilates Challenge for Wi******er Hospice at Wi******er Pilates Studio Ltd and Dave is still going strong! Very impressive!
Fundraising target exceeded too. Well done all.

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure to be the "model" for filming with the one and only Pilates with Shan for Body Control Pilates Central. The class - Unilateral Work on the Reformer - is available to watch now. And on Friday, we'll be having all the fun again - this time adding in the Tower to the Reformer!

Throwback Thursday

I couldn't let the guests have all the poolside Pilates fun, could I?!

Classes are held at 8am and 5.45pm to avoid the heat of the day, but I had these photos taken at 11.30am! 32C and rising... maybe red wasn't the best colour choice! 🥵🤣

What a beautiful place to teach Pilates! Thank you Flavours Holidays for entrusting your guests to me at such short notice last week. I feel very honoured to have been able to spend time with such a great group of ladies, and to see how much they grew in their Pilates over a week, and in such a gorgeous location with great food and Prosecco too! I loved Sicily - definitely somewhere to go back to an spend more time. Ciao!

We've been having such a great time in Village Hall that we're adding another class.

7.30pm Thursdays
Introduction to Pilates Course
19th September - 10th October

Suitable for total beginners, those returning after a break, or anyone who wants to learn more about the Body Control Pilates Method.

This 4 week course will introduce you to the history of Pilates, the Body Control Pilates method, and our fundamental exercises in a range of start positions.

With spaces limited to 12, you'll need to be quick to secure your spot.
