Proud Physio Post!!
For some of my clients, this weekend is what we’ve been aiming for and you all deserve a mention.
Firstly, Jess Hindle-Jawdoszak, 13 months ago she had an accident whilst competing in a games competition on her horse, she missed a vault and fractured her tibial plateau which needed an operation. Her rehab has consisted of many different physical aspects, but we also worked on regaining her confidence in her leg, and today she nailed her first competition - “with only one splat moment”, but her leg is absolutely fine!
Sam Richards is cycling 312km in the Mallorca 312 Sportive.
We’ve been working on his niggles to make sure he’s ready for the gruelling ride, and he’s gone off in great shape. You’ve got this Sam!
Finally my runners.
We have London Marathon; Wayne Loveridge (1132), Kate Dobson (1797), Kate Coleman (78823), Lee Sweet (52346), Danielle Gilpin (33755).
Manchester Marathon; Phil Goodridge-Reynolds (4032), Marie Wadey (12204), Chris Wadey (4045),
Madrid Marathon; Sophie Dyer.
You’ve all trained for this, it may not have always been plain sailing, but the greatest achievements are the ones that don’t come easy.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re aiming for 2.30 hours or 7 hours and everything in between, all of you have had to overcome your individual pressures and challenges, but you’ve done it and you are ready.
It’s been a heck of a journey for each and every one of you, and I’m so proud of you all.
I will be tracking you all, and I may not be there in person, but I will be cheering loudly as you cross that finish line.
Now, LETS DO THIS!!!
