Workshops and retreats Founder of Zoga Yoga. The Wednesday 18.45 to 19.45 class is Hatha Yoga suitable for all abilities, including beginners. The 8pm class is a Flow Yoga class, a more dynamic style of yoga. This class is for anyone who has experience of yoga or who has a reasonable fitness level. The heart centre is all about compassion, connection and balance. It’s the bridge between our grounded, physical energy and our higher awareness. When it’s open, we feel steady, kind and spacious.

When it’s tight, we can feel guarded or closed off, and that often shows up physically as tension across the chest and shoulders.

Unravel tight shoulders and quieten your busy mind at Candlelight Yoga in Somerset.

You can expect slow simple mindful movement that gently releases layers of tension. Followed by a Yoga Nidra, a blissful guided relaxation.

This will be deeply restful practice, that soothes your nervous system, improves sleep and is great for stress relief.

If you’re someone who is always “on,” Yoga Nidra can feel unfamiliar at first because it asks you to stop doing. But that’s exactly where the benefit lies.

It’s one of the most effective practices for stress, overwhelm, and poor sleep. Not because it forces anything, but because it allows the body to reset itself.

It is suitable for complete beginners. You don't need to be flexible, or even good at relaxing.

This Seasonal Shift (late winter) Yoga in Somerset workshop is a gentle way to ease your body out of winter and towards spring, without pushing or “doing more”. Think slow, warming movement, soft strength, easy somatic release and plenty of rest.

The kind of practice that helps your shoulders drop, your breath slow down and your body remember how to feel comfortable again.
