Somatics is a beautiful addition to my teaching. It's less about how it looks. More about how it feels.
Somatic movement helps you unwind deeply held tension, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with a body that’s been asking you to slow down for a long time.
The movements are slow, varied, and multi-dimensional, gently working through muscles, joints, and the connective tissue (fascia) that weaves through your whole body.
Because your nervous system is intimately connected with this tissue, somatic movement can have a powerful effect on releasing the layers of stress and tension we’ve been holding onto for years.
As the moves are gentle, it's easy for beginners.
