It's a rainy day here in Somerset. I love the rain and how it feels on my face and the different sounds it makes as the drops bounce off leaves, flowers, buildings surfaces, etc. It is also such a good way of being mindful and connecting with nature. Mindfulness combined with nature, in different weathers, really helps with physical and mental well-being. I spent some time this morning in my garden in the rain just watching the rain drops on my vegetables and paying attention fully to all of the different sounds, smells, sights and sensations. So if it's raining where you are today, get dressed for the weather, go out and celebrate being alive in the rain! I discuss the power of both mindfulness and nature in my book
