*Sound Healing Training: Himalayan Singing Bowls*

Foundation Level 1 with Rounik

*A weekend of learning, practice & presence*

This is a certification course in foundational sound healing with Himalayan singing bowls. Over the 2 days we’ll explore both the theory and the practice of working with these sacred instruments — discovering how they support meditation, deep rest, journeying and healing for yourself and others.

There will be space for hands-on play and practice, time for reflection and discussion, and clear guidance rooted in many years of experience offering treatments and sound healing and sound baths to thousands of people.

Together, we’ll cover:

* The origins and history of Tibetan singing bowls
* The science of vibration and how sound supports the physical and energy bodies
* Playing bowls with presence: striking & stroking techniques
* Working with single bowls and chakra sets
* Using singing bowls for meditation, aura clearing, nervous system regulation
* Foundations of one-to-one work, both off-body and on-body (sound massage) treatments

✨ A 7-metal handmade singing bowl from Nepal (worth around £65-£75)
✨ A printed course manual
✨ A 1-hour online follow-up session (3–4 weeks after the weekend)
✨ Plenty of space for Q&A and experiential learning
✨ Small group size (maximum of 8 participants) for personalised guidance

*If you already have bowls, you’re welcome to bring them so they can be part of the collective vibration of the weekend. Bowls and materials will be provided.

Certification

On completing the course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion accredited by the CTAA. This training gives you a strong foundation in working with singing bowls for personal practice, meditation, and the beginnings of 1:1 sound healing.

Venue

The Yurt at Lifeworks by Rio is a large, magical space with underfloor heating and is surrounded by rolling fields, a river and there is even a lovely hobbit house where we may choose to have lunch in.
