Our free Lunch & Learn sessions are designed to create space for clinical teams: a space to ask questions, to revisit familiar equipment, hear about the latest equipment and to talk through real challenges.

So when OT's tell us they felt engaged, supported and more confident in their clinical reasoning, it genuinely means a lot.

When space is tight and clinical needs are complex, the right advice can make all the difference. Recently, our Product Advisor Stuart Greaney supported a challenging case in Shrewsbury, helping a care team find a safe, practical shower commode solution for a very confined bathroom.

By carefully assessing the environment and recommending the right product, Stuart helped improve safety and ease of use. Additionally, he assisted with a complex issue, a great example of how experienced Product Advisors can turn challenges into workable solutions.

Specialist Adaptations Making a Real Difference!

Recently, our Product Advisor Harjit Bassan worked with Mr P, an adult with a longstanding brain injury, to adapt his RAZ AT shower chair after changes in his posture made the standard setup unsafe.

Mr P was sliding forward, experiencing extensor spasms and struggling to maintain a safe seated position. His Occupational Therapist contacted Wealden Rehab for support.

What We Did
Harjit carried out a joint assessment and recommended targeted adaptations, including:
• Reclining backrest
• Correctly sized lap belt
• Extended visco-foam seat cushion
• One-piece angle-adjustable footplates
• Forward-offset footrest sockets
• Upgraded Design G headrest

The Result
After fitting and fine-tuning the equipment, Mr P could sit safely and comfortably, with forward sliding eliminated and overall stability significantly improved.
