AP Artist appreciation post! 🥰

✨Level 3 AP Artist Jenny visited Rosie's AA session yesterday and was so excited to share this with us...

"I had the pleasure of visiting Old Downs Residential home today to watch Arts Point Artist Rosie, teach Active Armchairs. Rosie led the class with enthusiasm, fun and laughter and it was clear that she loves to deliver these sessions and the residents really benefit from them. Her theme - movies, was varied and motivating and enabled the residents to engage whilst benefiting from the exercises. There was some great feedback from everyone:

‘Rosie is fantastic , the residents love her’ - Activities Co-ordinator

‘It really feels like I’ve worked my arms’ - Participant

‘I really enjoy these sessions’ - Participant

It was lovely to see her teach and we collaborated on some new ideas to try in sessions too."

🎥 Its almost show time!

Join us TOMORROW for an evening of popcorn, picnics and pictures at Platinum Jubilee Park, Ebbsfleet! 🤩 ... watching (by very popular demand) The Lion King! 🦁

A few things to be mindful of...

🎥The film starts at 7pm so please allow time to get your food and drinks and settle in for the film.
😎The film will start in daylight so please use sun cream if needed. The film will end after dark so please bring things to stay cosy during the film.
🍕Food vendors, Naty's, Amalfi Pizza, Dela Cupcakes will be present on the day so please support your local providers! The Blue Bean Coffee shop will also be open until 6pm.
🍿We will have complimentary popcorn on a first come first served basis with Candy Kent!
👥We are expecting a wonderful turn out so please be mindful of your set up on the day and allow room for people around you. Please keep pathways clear.
🥂Please do not bring glass to the event.
👍We will have stewards available on the day to help you and first aid available.
