Calendar Update❗️❗️

With December just around the corner, brace yourselves for a whirlwind of festive fun! Our service users are about to dive headfirst into a load of festive activities that would make Santa himself jealous.
From cozy PJ & movie marathons to glittering Christmas Parties and feast-worthy dinners, right down to mastering the art of Christmas mocktail magic, our calendar is bursting with holly jolly excitement!🎥🎊🍽
There's something for everyone. So keep your eyes on our private page for all the merry mischief and wonder our crew will get up to!

P.S. Rumor has it that a mischievous little elf might be making a comeback this season, He’s been instructed to keep a watchful eye and report back his findings to the big man himself! Stay tuned for daily Elf escapades here at C&H!🧝‍♀️

This event, is hosted by Medway Council’s Adult Social Care, which will be a great opportunity for those who provide care in the community or for those who provide care at home and are struggling to meet a range of Council services and get information, guidance and support to help them as a Carer.

• Date: Tuesday 25 November
• Time: 10:30am to 2:30pm (drop-in any time!)
• Location: The old Wilkos shop, Ground floor of the Pentagon Shopping Centre (by the lifts), Chatham ME4 4HY

What services will you be able to speak with?

The following services will be providing stalls on the day:

• Adult Social Care including;
o social work teams, financial assessments, and client financial affair
o direct payments, shared lives and transition from children to adults
o occupational therapy and respite services
o engagement team and many more...
• Housing and Benefits
• Adaptations
• Adult Education and Public Health

A number of organisations from across Medway will also be attending including Carers First, Medway Voluntary Action, Kent Association for the Blind and Healthwatch.

In a world that is in a constant state of change and adaptation, fashion is forever striving to keep up with the pace. However, when it comes to adaptive clothing for individuals with additional needs, it can often feel like an uphill battle. Thankfully, though Primark has officially joined the effort with their new adaptive range, thoughtfully designed to accommodate every body type and need.

It’s amazing to finally see an affordable brand create something that can make such a big difference to people's lives, and Choice & Harmony will always be behind brands like this supporting in anyway we can ❤💛💚💙

We all encounter the daily pressures that is life, and while our service users may face different kinds of stress, they certainly experience their own challenges everyday. 😖🤬🫣
Therefore, our aim is to assist them in discovering new strategies to manage their stress effectively, thus the relaxation class was created! From relaxing music, controlled breathing and sensory inputs our guys are loving it so far! ❤💛💚💙

Don't forget this Friday is our firefighter museum trip! It's an exciting opportunity to learn about the brave individuals who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe!🔥🔥🔥

Remember to pack a lunch, bring a water bottle, and wear comfortable shoes for the day. The museum is filled with fascinating exhibits, from retired fire engines to fantastic interactive exchanges with the volunteers that run the exhibition. ❤💛💚💙
