Do you know the because of the baby putting his hand on our mouth while we breastfeed him??

According to Zeljko Loparic (professor of philosophy at Unicamp and Winnicott scholar), in his mother's lap, when everything goes well (there is foster care and exchange of looks), the child learns the notion of ′′ mutuality ". The baby realizes that mom does something for him. Give him something (milk, snuggle, affection, safety, relief,...).
And over time, the baby has the desire to give something to the mother too.

One of the first signs of mutuality is very interesting. Winnicott when he watches the babies that suck, realizes that too soon they start putting their finger inside their mother's mouth.

The baby is getting something from the mother and wants to spontaneously give something to her. Winnicott calls this ′′ cross identification ". The baby identifies with the mother in this ′′ give and receive ". And this, according to Winnicott, is fundamental to the beginning of a healthy social life.

Hiiiiiii!

I'm starting to feel like I'm ready to be back on the gram again!

Back in April, it all just felt a bit too much. Baby, 2 bigger ones, business, puppy... Then we decided to put our house on the market (I mean not the greatest idea time wise, but I'm so so glad we did, or we wouldn't have found the gem that we have now!)

So I reduced the load. I stepped back from everything business. In due course I plan to resume classes and support and and start up others. All in good time.

We're still settling into our new home. My biggest girlie has started her new school and the other starts next week. I feel like time is flying by and I don't want to miss my babies being little. In the mean time, I'll hopefully see you over on stories 🥰 ✌🏻

Some of these are brilliant!

The internet is filled with photos of Prince Phillip with his 💖 right now, but this is my favourite.

He had decided to prank her by dressing as a guard when she was returning to Buckingham Palace 😂

Imagine still giggling together like this after 73 years of marriage, 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 10 (nearly 11) great grandchildren! 😍🥰

I wouldn't be without this carrier! I am able to do so much more with bubs (who loves a snuggly nap) in the carrier. Now he's a little bigger I have started to pop him on my back too which is so helpful. I just spend my days swaying! 🤣

What item couldn't you do without?
